This summer, prepare to be mesmerized as New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill unveils an outdoor aerial art installation unlike any other. From June 22 through October 31, visitors can immerse themselves in Flora in Flight, a trilogy of large-scale kinetic artworks by renowned artist Patrick Shearn of Poetic Kinetics. These vibrant, ultra-lightweight installations will transform the Garden into living tapestries of color, creating an immersive and wondrous experience for all.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring the unique work of Patrick Shearn and Poetic Kinetics to the Garden,” says Lea Morgan, exhibitions manager for New England Botanic Garden. “It’s been a joy to see this beautiful, immense project come to life and to collaborate with such a talented and thoughtful group of artists. ”inspiration from the Garden’s rich environment, with color palettes and designs reflecting the surrounding flora and landscape. Flora in Flight was created specifically for New England Botanic Garden and is part of Poetic Kinetics’ Skynet Art Series, which has exhibited worldwide.
